The Akamai Identity Cloud (AIC) service will undergo a maintenance on 29 OCTOBER 2020 at 18:00 UTC. The intent of this maintenance is:
This week's Identity Cloud maintenance will focus on two areas; 1) Updating support for the OIDC Hybrid Flows; 2) Security improvements to prevent script injection.
- The configuration service will be updated to support OIDC Hybrid Flows so that customers can configure OIDC Hybrid Flows. It will also have legacy unused providers removed from the social config provider selection lists to prevent these providers from being used.
- The login experience will have a security patch applied to help prevent script injection in Hosted Login and the Widget.
This maintenance will be implemented sequentially across all regions during the maintenance window, which is expected to require 03 hours. The service will remain operational during this period with no disruptions expected for any AIC customer or their users.
