The Akamai Identity Cloud (AIC) service will undergo a maintenance update on 27 JANUARY 2021 starting at 00:00 UTC. It will complete in about 30 minutes.
The AIC platform release for January 27 will be for the Russia region only. There are no functional changes that require customer action or awareness.
When: 27 JANUARY 2021, 00:00 UTC What: Several performance configuration changes will be made to the Russia service in order to reduce latency. The Russian service will need to be restarted, which has the potential to cause requests to fail during the restart period. This will likely be seen as a timeout or error from the end user's perspective. Duration/Impact: For the maintenance activities in the Russian region, there will be approximately 1 minute of downtime at the end of the 30 minute maintenance window. The maintenance will require a restart of the Network Gateway services.
